Trackers: keep eyes on competitors while you sleep

A Tracker is a saved search Adligator re-runs for you. Get only the new ads, daily diffs, and the Analytics dashboard for any brand you watch.

Updated 12.05.2026

Spying on a competitor once tells you what they were doing yesterday. Spying continuously — and only on what is new — is what separates "I check Adligator sometimes" from "Adligator is in my Monday routine." That is what Trackers are for.

What a Tracker is

A Tracker is a saved search. You configure it once (brand, country, format, anything you would normally filter by) and Adligator re-runs it on a schedule, surfacing only the ads that are new since your last check. It also unlocks an Analytics dashboard scoped to that tracker — visuals, copy patterns, launch cadence, country mix — that you cannot get from a one-off search.

In other words, a Tracker turns a search box into a feed.

The Trackers popup: left-nav highlights Trackers, right panel lists every saved tracker.

What unlocks when you save a Tracker

The most visible benefit is the Analytics tab. It is the dashboard nobody else in the Meta-spy space produces:

  • Launches over time — when does this brand actually push new creative?
  • Visuals breakdown — image vs video vs carousel mix, with examples
  • Copy patterns — most-used phrases, hooks, button types
  • Country mix — which markets they prioritize and how that has shifted

The Creatives tab gives you the what; Analytics gives you the pattern. They are designed to be read together.

Setting up your first Tracker

  1. Run the search you want to track (a brand, a keyword, a niche+country combo — anything).
  2. Click the Save as Tracker action above the result grid.
  3. Give it a recognizable name. "Ridge Wallet — US — Active" beats "Tracker 1" three weeks from now.
  4. Open the Trackers popup any time (top of the Creatives tab) to load it, rename, or delete.

Create-tracker modal: name the tracker by the job (brand + country + slice), not by an internal id.

That is the entire setup. From this point, opening the Tracker shows you the current state of the search plus a "new since last visit" indicator on cards.

A real workflow

Here is the routine we recommend new accounts adopt:

Monday, 09:00. Open Adligator. Three Trackers — one per top competitor. You see roughly 8–15 new ads across all three. Eyeball the strongest one, screenshot it into the brief you send your designer, and close the tab. Total time: 8 minutes.

That is the highest-ROI workflow on the platform. It does not require you to remember anything, type anything, or spend an hour scrolling. It works because Trackers + Analytics turn occasional research into continuous intel.

If you have only set up one Tracker, set up two more. The whole system compounds.
